Procore Championship Seeking Volunteers

Procore Championship Seeking Volunteers

June 3, 2025

The Event Returns to Silverado Resort September 11-14

NAPA, Calif., TBD The Procore Championship is now accepting applications for the volunteer program presented by Jacuzzi ahead of its return to Napa Valley this fall. Set for September 11-14, 2025, at Silverado Resort, this PGA TOUR event is part of the FedExCup Fall Series and draws a mix of established TOUR stars and emerging talent. Notable participants and winners have included Wyndham Clark, Sahith Theegala, Max Homa, Justin Thomas, Min Woo Lee, Joel Dahmen, Hideki Matsuyama, Jason Day, Rickie Fowler, Akshay Bhatia, 2023 US Ryder Cup Captain Zach Johnson, 2024 Presidents Cup International Team Captain Mike Weir and 2026 US Presidents Cup Captain Brandt Snedeker.

“Our volunteers are the heart of the Procore Championship,” said Andy McDowell, executive director of the tournament. “They bring energy, passion, and and incredible sense of community to the event. Volunteering is a fun, rewarding way to connect with others, support local causes, and be part of something that brings our Napa Valley community together.”

Volunteers work alongside the tournament team and PGA TOUR personnel in various roles that help bring the event to life. With over 25 committees to choose from–including gallery management, hospitality, admissions, ball spotting, and more–there’s something for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned golf enthusiast or simply excited to be part of the action. No prior experience or golf knowledge is required.

Some committees seeking volunteers include:

  • Gallery Management Ambassadors (GMAs): Help manage gallery noise and foot traffic, ensure guest safety, and enhance the overall fan experience. GMAs are assigned to key locations across the course including tees, greens, crosswalks, and hospitality zones–and also serve as the evacuation team in the event of severe weather. Volunteers should be comfortable standing and walking throughout their shift.
  • Competition Support – ShotLink Mobile Spotters: Help power the PGA TOUR’s real-time scoring system by locating and flagging golf balls, assisting with ball flight tracking, and relaying key information to on-course scoring techs. Volunteers must be 18 or older, complete online and in-person training, and be available all four tournament days. Basic golf knowledge, strong communication, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Hospitality: Support sponsor and guest experiences by checking credentials, greeting attendees, providing information, and helping maintain clean, welcoming hospitality spaces. Volunteers will be stationed at various venues and should be prepared to be on their feet and mobile during their shift.

Each volunteer receives an exclusive gear package, including a branded polo, outerwear, and hat, plus other appreciation items included with the registration fee. Volunteers also enjoy a unique opportunity to experience PGA TOUR golf up close while making new connections and supporting a world-class event. This year’s volunteer program is presented by Jacuzzi.

Beyond its role in delivering a premier sporting experience, the Procore Championship also fuels charitable impact across the region. Since moving to Napa in 2014, the tournament has raised over $9 million for nonprofits. Beneficiaries of the 2024 include Queen Valley Hospital Foundation, Travis Air Force Base Reserves, NEWS, Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch, Communities Firewise Foundation, Youth on Course, Silverado Junior Golf Organization, Boys & Girls Club Napa Valley, OLE Health Foundation and First Tee North Coast.

The Procore Championship takes place September 11-14, 2025, at Silverado Resort in Napa, Calif. To learn more about volunteer roles and sign up, visit ProcoreChampionship.com/Volunteer.
